This is not new. Western Christianity, it was discovered, was modernist, especially when compared to the various contextual theologies in the Third World. The result of the history of mission theology that pertained to both of our churches is seen in the policies adopted long ago. Rather, it applies to the whole life of every believer.

In truth, every disciple of Christ should strive to be an agent, a representative of the kingdom of God; and every follower should try to carry the mission of God into every sphere of his life.
